ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION REGULATIONS 2021 (SR NO 47 OF 2021) - REG 141
How to determine motor vehicle noise emissions(1) For the purposes of this Division, the noise emitted by a motor vehicle must be determined using the method set out in the National Stationary Exhaust Noise Test.
(2) The definition of "Engine Speed at Maximum Power" in the National Stationary Exhaust Noise Test is to be read as if it means, in the case of a motor vehicle, the engine speed at maximum power as set out in the ESMP data manual.
