WATER AMENDMENT (ENTITLEMENTS) ACT 2010 (NO. 32 OF 2010) - SECT 53

    (1)     For section 84E(1)(b) of the Water Act 1989 substitute —

    "(b)     the Minister—

              (i)     to establish and maintain the system of the water register; and

              (ii)     to carry out the Minister's functions under this Act—".

    (2)     In section 84E(2) of the Water Act 1989 —

        (a)     for paragraph (a) substitute —

    "(a)     the Registrar to carry out the Registrar's functions under this Act; or";

        (b)     for paragraph (c) substitute —

    "(c)     the Minister—

              (i)     to establish and maintain the system of the water register; and

              (ii)     to carry out the Minister's functions under this Act—".

    (3)     For section 84E(3)(a) of the Water Act 1989 substitute —

    "(a)     the Registrar to carry out the Registrar's functions under this Act; or".
