Victorian Numbered Actss. 6
(1) An employer must pay to an employee all of the employee's wages in money.
(2) An employer must pay an employee's wages to the employee—
(a) in cash or by cheque, postal order or money order; or
(b) by deposit into an ADI specified by the employee; or
(c) by a combination of methods set out in paragraphs (a) and (b).
Note
The Interpretation of Legislation Act 1984 defines an ADI to be an authorised deposit-taking institution within the meaning of the Banking Act 1959 of the Commonwealth.
(3) Nothing in this section affects the making of deductions from an employee's wages in accordance with this Part.
