Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) Before an application may be made under section 12 in relation to a contravention of section 6, a written demand for payment in money of the wages must have been served on the employer in accordance with section 14 by or on behalf of the employee, unless it is not practicable for this to be done.
(2) Before an application may be made under section 12 in relation to a contravention of section 7 or 10, a written demand for return of the amount of the unlawful deduction must have been served on the employer in accordance with section 14 by or on behalf of the employee, unless it is not practicable for this to be done.
