SEX WORK DECRIMINALISATION ACT 2022 (NO. 7 OF 2022) - SECT 51

After section 65 of the Summary Offences Act 1966 insert —

        "     66     Transitional provision—Sex Work Decriminalisation Act 2022

    (1)     Section 38C as inserted by the Sex Work Decriminalisation Act 2022 applies to an offence alleged to have been committed on or after the repeal of section 11A of the Sex Work Act 1994 .

    (2)     For the purposes of subsection (1), if an offence is alleged to have been committed between 2 dates, one before and one on or after the repeal of section 11A of the Sex Work Act 1994 , the offence is alleged to have been committed before that repeal.".
