MARINE SAFETY ACT 2010 (NO. 65 OF 2010) - SECT 71
Renewal of safe operation certificate(1) The owner of a commercially operated vessel or a fleet of commercially operated vessels may apply for the renewal of a safe operation certificate issued in respect of the vessel or fleet of vessels.
(2) An application under subsection (1) must be made before the safe operation certificate expires.
(3) Sections 69 and 70 apply to the renewal of a safe operation certificate as if a reference to a person who applied for a safe operation certificate in those sections were a reference to an owner of a commercially operated vessel or a fleet of commercially operated vessels who has applied for the renewal of the certificate issued.
