MARINE SAFETY ACT 2010 (NO. 65 OF 2010) - SECT 300

    (1)     This section applies to—

        (a)     the Uniform Shipping Laws Code; and

        (b)     the National Standard for Commercial Vessels; and

        (c)     the National Standard for Administration of Marine Safety.

    (2)     A provision of a document to which this section applies that is applied, adopted or incorporated by the regulations has effect with any modifications that are necessary to give it effect, and in particular—

        (a)     a reference to the Authority must be read as a reference to the Safety Director;

        (b)     a reference to a surveyor must be read as a reference to a transport safety officer.
