MARINE SAFETY ACT 2010 (NO. 65 OF 2010) - SECT 237
Offence to fail to comply with direction or obstruct, harbour master(1) The master of a vessel must not, without reasonable excuse, refuse or fail to comply with—
(a) any direction given under this Chapter to the master by a harbour master; or
(b) any direction in the regulations.
Penalty: 120 penalty units.
(2) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, obstruct a harbour master (or a person acting under the direction of a harbour master) performing a function or exercising any power under this Chapter.
Penalty: 60 penalty units.
