MARINE SAFETY ACT 2010 (NO. 65 OF 2010) - SECT 159
Powers of entry in relation to lights(1) If a notice served under item 25 of Schedule 1 is not complied with, a person authorised by the Safety Director for the purposes of this section may do all or any of the following—
(a) enter any premises and take possession of the light;
(b) order that the light be forfeited;
(c) do anything in relation to the light that the notice required the owner or other person to do.
(2) A person on whom a notice under item 25 of Schedule 1 is served must comply with the notice.
Penalty: 60 penalty units.
