MARINE SAFETY ACT 2010 (NO. 65 OF 2010) - SECT 157
Person may be required to state name and address(1) A member of the police force or a transport safety officer who has reason to believe that a person has committed a marine infringement may require that person to state his or her name and address.
(2) A person must not refuse or fail to state his or her name and address when required to do so under subsection (1).
Penalty: 5 penalty units.
(3) A person must not state a false name or address when required to state his or her address under subsection (1).
Penalty: 5 penalty units.
