LEGAL PROFESSION ACT 2004 (NO 99 OF 2004) - SECT 3.2.24
Tabling in Parliament and government response(1) The Attorney-General must cause the report of an investigation under this Division to be laid before each House of Parliament within 7 sitting days of that House after receiving the report.
(2) If a report contains a recommendation that the government take any action, the Attorney-General, within 6 months after receiving the report, must report to Parliament as to the action (if any) proposed to be taken by the government with respect to the recommendation.
(3) If the government does not propose to implement a recommendation of the Board, the report under sub-section (2) must contain a full statement of the reasons.
