EVIDENCE (WITNESS IDENTITY PROTECTION) ACT 2004 (NO 60 OF 2004) - SECT 1

The purpose of this Act is to amend the Evidence Act 1958 —

        (a)     to allow witness identity protection certificates to be issued to Victorian operatives who are to give evidence in interstate proceedings; and

        (b)     to provide for interstate witness identity protection certificates to be used for interstate operatives in Victorian proceedings.
