    The long title for the Bill for this Act was "to amend the Evidence Act 1958 to allow witness identity protection certificates to be issued to Victorian operatives who are to give evidence in interstate proceedings and provide for interstate witness identity protection certificates to be used for interstate operatives in Victorian proceedings and for other purposes."
