COURTS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT (ASSOCIATE JUDGES) ACT 2008 (NO. 24 OF 2008) - SECT 19

s. 19

    (1)     In section 17A of the Supreme Court Act 1986 —

        (a)     in subsection (1)—

              (i)     after "a Judge" insert "of the Court";

              (ii)     after "the Judge" insert "of the Court";

        (b)     in subsection (2), after "a Judge" (wherever occurring) insert "of the Court";

        (c)     in subsection (3), after "a Judge" insert
"of the Court or constituted by an Associate Judge";

        (d)     in subsection (3A)—

              (i)     after "a Judge" insert "of the Court or constituted by an Associate Judge";

              (ii)     after "the Judge" insert "of the Court or Associate Judge";

        (e)     in subsection (4)(b)—

              (i)     after "the Judge" insert "of the Court or Associate Judge";

              (ii)     after "a Judge" insert "of the Court or an Associate Judge, as the case requires";

              (iii)     in subparagraph (v), after "the Judges" insert "of the Court";

        (f)     in subsection (7), after "the Judge" insert
"of the Court or an Associate Judge".

    (2)     In section 17B(2) of the Supreme Court Act 1986 , after "a Judge" insert "of the Court or constituted by an Associate Judge".
