PART 10 TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS

Transitional provisions

58. Transitional provisions



(1) A person who immediately before the commencement of these Regulations was
the holder of-

   (a)  a Private Wildlife (Category One) Licence; or

   (b)  a Private Wildlife (Category Two) Licence-

is deemed to hold, subject to these Regulations, a Private Wildlife (Basic)
Licence until the date on which the Private Wildlife (Category One) Licence or
Private Wildlife (Category Two) Licence would have expired if the Wildlife
Regulations 1992, as in force immediately before the commencement of these
Regulations, had continued in operation.

(2) A person who immediately before the commencement of these Regulations was
the holder of a Private Wildlife (Category Three) Licence is deemed to hold,
subject to these Regulations, a Private Wildlife (Advanced) Licence until the
date on which the Private Wildlife (Category Three) Licence would have expired
if the Wildlife Regulations 1992, as in force immediately before the
commencement of these Regulations, had continued in operation.
