Fire extinguishers

33. Fire extinguishers



(1) A person who holds a licence for an omnibus must take reasonable steps to
ensure that the vehicle is not used unless all fire extinguishers required to
be fitted to the vehicle are maintained in operating condition.

Penalty: 10 penalty units.

(2) An accredited person who operates a public passenger vehicle or a private
bus must take reasonable steps to ensure that the vehicle is not used unless
all fire extinguishers required to be fitted to the vehicle are maintained in
operating condition.

Penalty: 10 penalty units. __________________
