47. Property found in taxi-cabs



(1) A person who finds lost or abandoned property in a taxi-cab must give the
property to the driver of the taxi-cab.

Penalty: 1 penalty unit.

(2) The driver of a taxi-cab who is given property under subregulation (1), or
who finds property in the taxi-cab, must, if the property is not claimed,
promptly deliver the property to the Victoria Police.

Penalty: 10 penalty units. __________________
