34. Passenger amenities



(1) The driver of a taxi-cab must comply with a request by a passenger-

   (a)  to turn the air conditioning or heating in the taxi-cab on or off; or

   (b)  to change the level at which the air conditioning or heating is
        operating-

unless complying with the request would cause unreasonable discomfort to the
driver. Penalty: 5 penalty units.

(2) The driver of a taxi-cab must comply with a reasonable request by a
passenger to-

   (a)  turn the music system or radio in the taxi-cab off; or

   (b)  operate the music system or radio at a lower level.

Penalty: 5 penalty units.
