21. Evidence of inspection



(1) If an inspection of a taxi-cab is required under regulation 19(1) or by a
notice under regulation 20(1), a member of the police force, the licensing
authority or a person authorised by the licensing authority may require the
operator of the taxi-cab to provide any evidence that the operator receives
from the person who inspects the taxi-cab, in the manner and form specified by
the member of the police force, the licensing authority or the person
authorised by the licensing authority, that the taxi-cab has been inspected
and of the result of that inspection.

(2) The operator must comply with a requirement made under subregulation (1).

Penalty: 20 penalty units.
