Appeals about demerit points

404. Appeals about demerit points



(1) For the purposes of section 26(3) of the Act, notice of appeal is given
when notice in writing of the appeal, endorsed by the clerk of the
Magistrates' Court in accordance with regulation 403, is served on the
Corporation.

(2) Notice in writing of discontinuance of appeal must be-

   (a)  lodged with the clerk of the Magistrates' Court; and

   (b)  served on the Corporation-

not less than 4 days before the hearing day.
