Notification offences

228. Notification offences



(1) The responsible officer of a court which convicts a person to whom section
52 of the Act applies of an offence against section 49(1) of the Act or finds
that person guilty of the offence must notify the Corporation of the details
of the conviction or the finding of guilt if the court does not cancel the
person's driver licence or permit or disqualify the person from obtaining a
licence or permit.





(2) In this regulation, responsible officer means-

   (a)  in the case of the Magistrates' Court, the Clerk of the Court; and

   (b)  in the case of the County Court, the Registrar of the Court; and

   (c)  in the case of the Supreme Court, the Prothonotary.
