216. Certain licences need not be probationary



The Corporation may issue a full driver licence to a person who has not
previously held a driver licence in Victoria if the person has been authorised
to drive a motor vehicle in another Australian State or Territory or another
country, and the Corporation is satisfied that, by reason of age, experience,
occupation or special circumstances, the person is fit to be granted a full
driver licence.
