Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 1999 - SECT 201

Registered operator

201. Registered operator

A person is eligible to be the registered operator of a vehicle if-

   (a)  that person is-

   (i)  a natural person who-

                (A)  in the case of a heavy vehicle, has attained the age of
                     18 years; or

                (B)  in the case of a motor cycle, has attained the age of 17
                     years and 9 months; or

                (C)  in the case of any other vehicle, has attained the age of
                     17 years; or

   (ii) a corporation; and

   (b)  the vehicle is owned by, or is under the management of, that person.
