Certificate of testing and sealing portable weighing devices

406. Certificate of testing and sealing portable weighing devices



(1) For the purposes of section 83 of the Act, a certificate in relation to
the testing and sealing of a portable weighing device is in the prescribed
form if it is in the form set out in Schedule 2.

(2) A person in the Engineering Department who tests and seals portable
weighing devices is authorised to sign a certificate for the purposes of
section 83 of the Act.
