Notice of immediate licence suspension

208. Notice of immediate licence suspension



(1) A notice for the purposes of section 51(1) of the Act must, in addition to
the matters referred to in that section, contain the following particulars-

   (a)  the name and address of the accused; and

   (b)  a statement of the offence with which the accused is charged and, in
        the case of an offence under paragraph (b), (f) or (g) of section
        49(1) of the Act, the alleged concentration of alcohol in the blood or
        breath (as the case requires) of the accused; and

   (ba) whether the person holds a full driver licence, a learner permit or a
        probationary driver licence; and



   (c)  the name and signature of the person who charged the accused; and

   (d)  the date on which the notice was given to the accused.

(2) A notice for the purposes of section 51(1A) of the Act must, in addition
to the matters referred to in that section, contain the following particulars-

   (a)  the name and address of the accused; and

   (b)  a statement of the offence with which the accused is charged; and

   (c)  the name and signature of the person who charged the accused; and

   (d)  the date on which the notice was given to the accused.

(3) A notice for the purposes of section 51(1B) of the Act must, in addition
to the matters referred to in that section and in section 51(1C), contain the
following particulars-

   (a)  the name and address of the person to whom the notice is issued; and

   (b)  a statement of the alleged concentration of alcohol in the blood or
        breath (as the case requires) of the person to whom the notice is
        issued; and

   (c)  whether the person holds a full driver licence, a learner permit or a
        probationary driver licence; and

   (d)  the name and signature of the person who issued the notice; and

   (e)  the date on which the notice was issued.
