61. Infringement notices



(1) For the purposes of section 163(b) of the Act, the prescribed offences are
the offences against regulations that are set out in Column 1 of the Table.

(2) For the purposes of section 164(e) of the Act, the infringement penalty-

   (a)  for an offence against section 59(1), 62(1), 114(1), 117(1), 128(3),
        129(2), 129(4), 133 or 138 of the Act is 2·5 penalty units; and

   (b)  for an offence against section 141(1), 176(1) or 176(2) of the Act is
        5 penalty units; and

   (c)  for an offence against section 134(1) or 134(2) of the Act is 10
        penalty units; and

   (d)  for an offence against a regulation set out in Column 1 of the Table
        is the amount set out in Column 2 of that Table.

(3) A summary of an offence in Column 3 of the Table is not to be taken to
affect the nature or elements of the offence to which the summary refers or
the operation of these Regulations.
