3.4.24. Information, instruction and training

An employer must ensure, in relation to work in a confined space, that the
relevant employees are provided with information, instruction and training in-

   (a)  the nature of any hazard associated with the confined space; and

   (b)  the need for, and proper use of, measures to control risk; and

   (c)  the selection, use, fit, testing and storage of any personal
        protective equipment; and

   (d)  the contents of any confined space entry permit relevant to the
        employees; and

   (e)  the emergency procedures.
