3.4.17. Procedures to indicate entry into confined space

An employer must ensure that for the period of the operation of the confined
space entry permit, a procedure is in place under which the employer, or a
person assigned by the employer, knows when any employee is in the confined
space. Note Act compliance-section 21 (see regulation 1.1.7).
