Council or Board may make inquiries
4.13. Council or Board may make inquiries
The Council or the Board of Examiners may make any inquiries it thinks fit
concerning any application under this Part, including inquiries in relation
to-
(a) in the case of an application by an overseas practitioner or a
qualified overseas applicant, the system of jurisprudence of the
overseas jurisdiction in which the applicant has been admitted or in
which the applicant obtained the qualification that forms the basis on
which the applicant seeks the Council's directions; and
(b) the nature and adequacy of the applicant's academic qualifications,
practical legal training and experience in the practice of law; and
(c) the fitness of the applicant to be admitted in Victoria.
