Endorsement of courses of instruction

3.03. Endorsement of courses of instruction



(1) The Council may endorse any course of instruction (including, without
limitation, any computer based course of instruction) in an area of practice
determined under rule 3.02 and may approve any institution, firm or person as
the provider of the course of instruction.

(2) The Council may-

   (a)  withdraw any endorsement of a course of instruction or approval of an
        institution, firm or person; or

   (b)  impose any conditions that the Council considers appropriate on an
        endorsement or approval; or

   (c)  vary any conditions imposed under paragraph (b).



(3) The Council must give written notice to an institution, firm or person
referred to in subrule (1) of-

   (a)  endorsement of a course of instruction or approval of the institution,
        firm or person, any conditions on endorsement or approval and any
        variation of those conditions;

   (b)  withdrawal of endorsement or approval.

(4) If a person commences a course of instruction endorsed by the Council and
satisfactorily completes the course, the person is to be treated as having
completed an endorsed course despite withdrawal of endorsement or withdrawal
of approval of the provider of the course after the person commenced the
course.
