Endorsement of subjects
2.03. Endorsement of subjects
(1) The Council may endorse any subject in a course of study at an approved
institution or any other institution as providing understanding of and
competence in an area of knowledge specified in rule 2.01(b).
(2) The Council may specify or vary the topics which it will treat as
necessary parts of an area of knowledge specified in rule 2.01(b).
(3) The Council may at any time withdraw its endorsement of a subject.
(4) The Council must give written notice to an institution referred to in
subrule (1) of-
(a) subjects in a course of study endorsed by the Council;
(b) any specification or variation of the topics the Council will treat as
part of an area of knowledge specified in rule 2.01(b);
(c) withdrawal of endorsement of a subject.
(5) If a person commences a course of study incorporating a subject endorsed
by the Council and satisfactorily completes the subject, the person is to be
treated as having completed an endorsed subject despite withdrawal of
endorsement after the person commenced the subject.
