Juries (Fees, Remuneration and Allowances) Regulations 2001 - SECT 1

Objectives

1. Objectives

The objectives of these Regulations are to-

   (a)  prescribe fees payable by a party requiring a civil case to be tried
        by a jury in a civil case in the Supreme Court and the County Court;
        and

   (b)  to prescribe the rate of remuneration and allowances payable to jurors
        and persons who attend for jury service.
