Counselling requirements prior to research

9. Counselling requirements prior to research

For the purposes of section 31 of the Act, counselling is required in relation
to the following prescribed matters-

   (a)  the nature and purpose of research undertaken on donated gametes,
        zygotes and embryos;

   (b)  the type of research that has been approved by the Authority under the
        Act;

   (c)  the possible risks and the implications of those risks, if any, in the
        conduct of the research;

   (d)  the possible destruction of zygotes during the conduct of research.
