Exemption for existing central mixing points concerning safety distances

330. Exemption for existing central mixing points concerning safety distances



(1) It is not necessary for a central mixing point that was operated under a
licence issued under the Dangerous Goods (Explosives) Regulations 1988 to
comply with regulation 329 if-

   (a)  immediately before the date this regulation come into operation the
        central mixing point complied with all the relevant requirements
        concerning safety distances imposed by those Regulations; and

   (b)  the central mixing point continues to comply with those requirements
        as if those Regulations had not been revoked.

(2) This regulation ceases to apply if a central mixing point is subject to
any change that has the effect of creating a new hazard or of increasing the
risk associated with an existing hazard.
