For ease of reference only, definitions (but not other parts of speech and grammatical forms of a word or phrase defined) appear in bold in the text. Section 39 of the Interpretation of Legislation Act 1984 provides that where a word or phrase is given a particular meaning in an Act or subordinate instrument, other parts of speech and grammatical forms of that word or phrase have, unless the contrary intention appears, corresponding meanings. - SECT 107

Incorporation of references

107. Incorporation of references

(1) If any provision of a document is incorporated, applied or referred to by
these Regulations, the incorporation, application or reference does not-

   (a) include any requirement for approval from the Authority in relation to
the storage and handling of dangerous goods; or

   (b) permit any departure from the requirements of the document
incorporated, applied or referred to at the sole discretion of a
person to whom those requirements apply.

(2) If a provision of any document incorporated, applied or referred to in
these Regulations is inconsistent with any provision of these Regulations, the
provision of these Regulations prevails.
