	1.	Objective

     The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe certain persons and bodies as public bodies for the purposes of the Audit Act 1994.

	4.	Public bodies

     Each person or body listed in the Schedule is prescribed as a public body for the purposes of the definition of public body in section 3 of the Audit Act 1994.

1. General Information
The Audit (Public Bodies) Regulations 2005, S.R. No. 65/2005 were made on 28 June 2005 by the Governor in Council under sections 3 and 21 of the Audit Act 1994, No. 2/1994 and came into operation on 28 June 2005: regulation 3.
The Audit (Public Bodies) Regulations 2005 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 28 June 2015 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).
2. Table of Amendments
This Version incorporates amendments made to the Audit (Public Bodies) Regulations 2005 by statutory rules, subordinate instruments and Acts.
