PART 2 2007 WORLD SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS CORPORATION

Objective of Part

6. Objective of Part

The objective of this Part is to establish the 2007
World Swimming Championships Corporation to plan, organise and deliver the
Championships, together with FINA and Swimming Australia, in a manner which-

   (a)  provides an environment for peak athletic performance; and

   (b)  enhances the reputation of Melbourne and Victoria as a venue for major
        international sporting events; and

   (c)  promotes the sport of swimming in Victoria and Australia; and

   (d)  promotes Melbourne, Victoria and Australia; and

   (e)  demonstrates high standards of safety; and

   (f)  demonstrates a high standard of financial responsibility, probity and
        transparency.
