Declaration of Championships venue

32. Declaration of Championships venue



(1) Subject to section 34, the Minister, by order published in the Government
Gazette, may declare an area of land to be a Championships venue.

Note The definition of land in section 38 of the
Interpretation of Legislation Act 1984 includes land covered by water.

(2) An order under this section may only be made in respect of an area of land
which is required for an event or activity forming part of the Championships
or a Championships event.
