Power to enter premises

58. Power to enter premises



For the purpose of conducting an investigation of a disclosed matter, the
Ombudsman or any officer of the Ombudsman authorised by him or her for that
purpose may at any reasonable time-

   (a)  enter any premises occupied or used by a public officer or public body
        in their capacity as such; and

   (b)  inspect those premises or anything for the time being in them or on
        them.
