Request for referral to Ombudsman

36. Request for referral to Ombudsman



If a person who is given notice under section 35 requests within the required
time that a disclosure be referred to the Ombudsman, the Director or Chief
Commissioner of Police (as the case requires) must immediately refer the
disclosure to the Ombudsman for a determination as to whether it is a public
interest disclosure.
