33W. Offence to give a transfer or assignment without Ministerial approval



(1) A person must not-

   (a)  transfer ownership of a water share under this Division; or

   (b)  give a limited term transfer under this Division; or

   (c)  give a water allocation assignment under this Division-

unless the Minister has approved the transfer or assignment (as the case
requires). Penalty: 60 penalty units.

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a transfer of ownership of a water share
on the death of a person by the legal personal representative of the person to
the person entitled to inherit the water share from the deceased person.
