Power to enter land

33A. Power to enter land



(1) The Minister, or a person authorised in writing by the Minister for the
purpose, may enter, in accordance with subsection (2), any land on which a
State observation bore is located for the purpose of-

   (a)  carrying out observations (including taking water samples); or

   (b)  operating, maintaining, altering or decommissioning the bore.

(2) The power of entry under subsection (1) may be exercised-

   (a)  in the case of Crown land, at any time; or

   (b)  in the case of land other than Crown land, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
        or, during an emergency, at any time.
