Making submissions on suspension

28E. Making submissions on suspension



(1) Immediately on suspending an authorisation, the Secretary must allow the
holder of the authorisation an opportunity to make written submissions.

(2) Submissions must be made within the period specified in the notice of
suspension.

(3) On receiving any submissions under subsection (2), the Secretary must
review the decision to suspend the authorisation, and in doing so must have
regard to the submissions and may decide-

   (a)  not to revoke or amend the suspension; or

   (b)  to revoke or amend the suspension.

(4) The Secretary must notify the holder of the authorisation of the outcome
of the review.
