Making submissions on suspension

25C. Making submissions on suspension



(1) Immediately on suspending a licence, the Secretary must allow the holder
of the licence an opportunity to make written submissions.

(2) Submissions must be made within the period specified in the notice of
suspension.

(3) On receiving any submissions under subsection (2), the Secretary must
review the decision to suspend the licence, and in doing so must have regard
to the submissions and may decide-

   (a)  not to revoke or amend the suspension; or

   (b)  to revoke or amend the suspension.

(4) The Secretary must notify the holder of the licence of the outcome of the
review.
