Action for damages by persons interested

18. Action for damages by persons interested

Where in any of the cases provided for by this Part there is no executor or
administrator of the person deceased, or where no action as in this Part
mentioned has within six months after the death of the deceased person been
brought by his executor or administrator, then and in every such case such
action may be brought by all or any of the persons (if more than one) for
whose benefit such action would have been if it had been brought by such
executor or administrator; and every action so to be brought shall be for the
benefit of the same person or persons and shall be subject to the same
procedure as nearly as may be if it were brought by such an executor or
administrator.
