Power of delegation
4. Power of delegation
(1) For the purposes of carrying out the objects and purposes of this Act and
exercising his powers duties and responsibilities hereunder, the
valuer-general is hereby authorized with the approval of the Minister to
delegate to the deputy valuer-general or to any other person holding an office
of valuer under this Act any of his powers duties and functions under this
Act.
(2) Any such delegation may be made in respect of any particular matter or any
class of matters or generally, or may be limited to any part of the State, and
may be made subject to such terms and conditions as the valuer-general thinks
fit.
(3) Any delegation under this section shall be revocable at will and shall not
prevent the exercise or performance of any power duty or function by the
valuer-general.
