Extension by Governor in Council of period for making valuations
13DE. Extension by Governor in Council of period for making valuations
(1) If on the application of a council the Minister is satisfied that it is
not reasonably practicable for the council to extend by a resolution under
section 13DD the period of use of the last valuation, the Minister may
recommend to the Governor in Council that the period be extended for such
period as the Minister thinks fit not exceeding 2 years from the date of the
expiration of the last valuation or any extension.
(2) The Governor in Council may approve the extension but so that the total of
the periods of extension and further extension does not exceed 2 years.
