Guidelines

45. Guidelines



(1) The Chief Magistrate may issue guidelines for the Tribunal as to the
procedure to be followed at, or in connection with, the hearing of matters
generally or any specified class or classes of matters.

(1A) The Chief Magistrate may issue guidelines that the Tribunal may take into
account as to-

   (a)  the matters that may be considered in determining whether expenses of
        a specified kind are reasonable; and

   (b)  any other matter related to the determination of an application-

being guidelines that apply generally or to a specified class or classes of
matter.

(1B) Guidelines issued under subsection (1A) may be expressed as applying in
relation to an application-

   (a)  made after the issuing of the guidelines; or

   (b)  being determined after the issuing of the guidelines irrespective of
        when made.

(2) Guidelines issued under subsection (1) or (1A) must not be inconsistent
with any provision made by this Act or the rules or with any practice
directions.
