Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998 - SECT 61

Unincorporated associations

61. Unincorporated associations



(1) An unincorporated association cannot be a party to a proceeding.

(2) If the Tribunal permits, a submission may be made on behalf of an
unincorporated association on any relevant matter in a proceeding by-



   (a)  a member of the association; or

   (b)  a person authorised by the association who is not a member.

(3) The Tribunal may require a person referred to in subsection (2)(b) who
seeks to make a submission to produce a certificate of authorisation from the
unincorporated association signed by the president, secretary or other similar
officer of the association.
