Leased land may be brought under the Act

11. Leased land may be brought under the Act



(1) Land leased for a term of years of which at least 10 years are unexpired,
or leased for years determinable with a life or lives, may be brought under
this Act.

(2) The provisions of this Act relating to freehold land extend and apply so
far as applicable and with any adaptations that are necessary to the bringing
of leasehold land under this Act.



(3) Every folio of the Register for leasehold land is subject to the rights
and powers of the lessor or other proprietor of the reversion immediately
expectant on the term.
